La Fontana in Nordlingen

Always eat the pizza here because I don't like pasta. The dough is wonderful, crispy and elastic at the same time, wonderfully thin, just like in Italy. The topping also fits. The only negative point: something is often forgotten or done wrong, whether it happens from the kitchen or when taking orders, I can't say.

Was very good the atmosphere also very interesting and nice restaurant. Just a little pulled.

Friendly and courteous staff. The cellar beer is great and can only be recommended. The pizzas I ordered were delicious, the batter was great and the chilli seasoning is very good and crispy. All in all we were very satisfied and would come back anytime.

Was there to take a break. Sat outside in the weather and drank a wheat beer. Service very nice not intrusive. I wrote cards in peace. And you can watch people so beautifully.

The prices are very good, but there is far too little salmon in the salmon lasagne, so unfortunately only 3 points. A piece of salmon at most the size of a small fish finger does not turn lasagna into salmon lasagna.

This pizzeria definitely deserves 5 stars because the staff is super super friendly! You get into the pizzeria and are greeted in a super friendly way. If you got your place you will be served immediately the delivery of drinks / food was super fast! I ordered 2x pizza with my girlfriend and after 5 minutes the pizza was ready. The pizza was made by hand and you could even watch it !!! The food was super delicious and can only be recommended there and it is super cheap !!! Simply a top pizzeria I am super happy and satisfied with everything!

Very tasty, very nice service and large selection. I had a salad it was fresh and a good size and an ice cream sundae which was also a good size. The condition was super friendly and the prices are all right. The only flaw is that it is located directly on the street and therefore cars often drive past

Super fast service. Operation, however, doesn't understand a word of German. The numbers of the dishes had to be announced and when we asked for ice cubes the question of "which kind" came along with an awkward leafing through the menu. Food was delivered quickly. Clean toilets. However, I cannot recommend pizzas at this pizzeria. We are avowed Italians fans. However, both ordered pizzas were practically inedible. The dough was baked so tight that it could not be cut with the knife. The fork got stuck in the dough. The pizza was dry as dust. The pizza had to be picked up and bit by bit bitten off. If I were to repeat here again - which is very unlikely - I would have it cut by the kitchen or bring a saw. See pictures...

Awful, poor service and over priced

Good quality and excellent prices! A lot of pizzas types and good beer!

Pizzas were good but most importantly for us they were able to make them gluten free. (on their own trays etc) Also reasonable selection of gluten free pastas meant we had a very happy 9 yr old celiac.

Appalling service. Stuck right people on a standard table. We asked to get an additional table but the waiter refused. Very rude and arrogant so we walked. Terrible attitude. Avoid!

I was here on 19 of august and ordered a minnestrone and a lasagna. The soup had no taste. Some frozen veggies in hot water. The lasagne was to salty. Th italian cuisine is not complex, its about passion for cooking and fresh ingrediënt. Probably the cook had a off day. By the way i didnt order a pizza but they were looking nice. Conclusion. Nice town, Nice locatie, horrible dinner, Not nu cup of ....... "soup"

Had to wait half an hour to get served, then an other half hour for first meal to arrive then another half hour for my wifes meal to arrive i had eaten mine by then. When we ask for bill we had to wait for a long time, when i got waitress's attention instead of bringing the bill she got the boss who told us to wait as they were busy. I protested that we needed to go he then became very rude, took our money and in a very aggresive manor told us to leave his restuarant this was all very public. It should be noted that tables outside are on a public pavement. As we left a German gentleman approached us and expressed his shame at the behaviour of the owner and apolgise on behalf other local traders as he is known for this type of behaviour. I can honestly say the only reason to visit this place is to wait a long time for very average food and really rude time wasting staff.

Very nice atmosphere, we had only desserts. Our strüdels were amazing!

Standard food that you can prepare at home. Is not worthy. The service is terrible and... on top of that ... the waiter was making fun of a friend of mine who came from Indian to visit me... go somewhere else!

Penzo that we succeed in spite of so much work to express good Italian cuisine abroad with more technology would be more beautiful especially in the kitchen

Pizza in stove, nice home character, very friendly staff and good quality. Coffee was surprisingly good too. Service more like a restaurant style with long waiting time, well, could expect it in popular place. Worth to visit.

was there to order a take away of 2 pizza's. I was politely asked to wait at the bar. After 30 minutes looked at the ober who took the order and nothing. Few minutes later he came back with two pizza boxes that he took from behind the bar somewhere. They were there for at least 15 minutes. Of course I needed to pay and after payment i I checked the temperature and of course cold ( waiting to be handed to the customer who ordered ). After expression of worry that it would be very cold when back home he grab back the boxes (Irritated) and asked the pizza baker to reheat in oven the two cold pizza's. .... of course after 1 minute in oven still cold at home and chewy chewy. Very strong disadvice to go there. It is totally unorganized and not a customer oriented location.

We come to this place a lot when working in Germany. The food is great and the owner Michael is very accomodating -he will often keep the place open late if we're working late in the evening.
